A little bit of Medieval fun!!(and other news and info)

I had a wonderful time this last weekend at the Days of Camelot Medieval Faire. I did a couple performances on one of the stages and had a really great time doing it and was even successful at selling a few of my CDs. I'm kicking myself for not getting any footage of myself on stage or pictures of myself in costume, but I did get a couple of neat pictures of the World Champion Jousters. It was AWESOME!!!! Huge horses, real shining armor, good humor, it was very fun. The whole day was a blast and I can't wait til next year!!!
To those of you who I haven't ready told, we're moving. Our landlady told us about a house near the college that she wanted to get us into since she just invested a bunch of money to remodel and update, and wants someone in there she knows will take good care of it. It's about 600 sq feet bigger than we have now and it has tons of storage, and a nice big, totally NEW kitchen. It has big shade trees in front and in back, a nice little fenced back yard with a big shady patio, I'm just SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about it, and hope we will be able to live there for at least a few years. Plus it's half a block from the school, I can stand on the sidewalk in front of the house and watch Delaney walk in the front door of her school. It's just perfect in so many ways. PLUUUUUUUSSSS there is room for my piano, which I have been seperated from for 12 years now!!! I'm so excited to have it with me, in my own home!! (I inherited it from my Great-grandmother, whom I am named after.)

I'll be posting pictures of our Disneyland trip in a couple weeks (we're leaving this Sunday and will be gone a week.) And hopefully a few weeks after that, I'll be ready to post some pics of us in our new house.

A couple more....

I had to add a few more pics to the collection :P

A Photo session

Okay, here's my disclaimer: I know I'm not a pro, and I don't have the fancy camera that I WISH I had, and my "knowledge" of photography is very lacking (I'd LOVE to take some classes and learn a few more skills)... but all that having been said, I still love taking pictures, and this one just kind of landed in my lap and I did it more as a favor than anything, but I'm so glad I did and I'm very happy with the results (despite my low pixel camera, it's almost embarassing). But these girls were so beautiful, and their dad was having such a good time watching me photograph them, I just feel blessed to have had the opportunity! So I thought I'd share :) We went up to the Red Hill to begin, but the wind was blowing sand in our eyes and mouths and hair, and it was really cold, so spur of the moment, I suggested we go somewhere less sandy and windy, and GreenGate village was the only place I knew of that would be a good spot in town, and it turned out perfect!! Here's a few of my favorite shots.
